Clean Satay Dressing

This ‘Clean’ Satay Dressing is just beautiful and will enhance the flavour of most salad, vegetable, steak and chicken dishes.

I love this recipe because the traditional use of peanuts has been replaced with organic activated almonds. Peanuts are quite an acidic food. High acidity levels within the body cause aggravation and inflammation, leading to distress and disease. A good approach is to minimise acid forming foods as much as possible and aim for at least 80% of your daily nutrition to be alkalising - hence lots of leafy greens & a variety of coloured vegetables, some fruits, a moderate amount of good quality protein and more ‘good’ fats.

All round, this is a gorgeous dressing to entice the fussiest of salad or vegetable eater.


(Serves 2)

2 tsp Organic activated almond butter

1 tsp Mustard

1 tbsp Lime juice

1 1/2 tbsp Coconut Aminos

1 tsp Maple syrup (Optional)


In a bowl, whisk all ingredients together.

Serve with a salad, delicious over vegetables or divine flavours to combine with your steak or chicken!
